Lets talk about probiotics

Lets talk about probiotics

Gut health is a very important factor when it comes to nutrition.

Why do you say this? Well, your gut is filled with trillions of "healthy" bacteria and lot of our immune system relies on this. If you do not have a great gut environment, you can eat as much healthy food as you would like, but it won't be absorbed into your body efficiently and you will just be wasting all that goodness.

The first thing to ensure is that you are maintaining a healthy gut lining, collagen is a great supplement for repairing this. This will ensure all the goodness consumed is absorbed into your body.

Next up, you need prebiotics! These are foods that feed the probiotics in your guy creating a happy microbiome (environment) in your stomach.
Examples of foods you can eat for these: Onions, apples, wheat bran, asparagus, garlic, leek, bananas, barley, oats, cocoa, flaxseed.

Now that you have fueled up, you can add the probiotics. And if you are not a fan of kombucha, smelly cheeses or salt brined olives then you can get 1 billion CFU from 1 serving of Skat shakes!

Some signs of an unhealthy guy:

  • You feel tired more often than not
  • You have trouble sleeping in general.
